If your insurance provider is not listed, you can still work with us by paying upfront and requesting a superbill for possible insurance reimbursement.

 

Before Your First Session
Insurance doesn’t always guarantee coverage. We recommend calling your insurance provider and asking:

• Does my plan cover outpatient nutrition counseling? (Billing codes 97802 & 97803)

• Do I need a referral from my doctor?

• Is there a deductible or copay for these services?

• How many sessions are covered per year?

• When does my policy year renew?

• Are Telehealth sessions covered?

• Is nutrition counseling included under preventive care? (ICD-10 code Z71.3)

 

Be sure to note the date and reference number of your call.

Out-of-Network / Self-Pay
Not in-network? No problem.

You can pay out-of-pocket via secure credit card payment through Practice Better. After creating your client profile, you’ll be able to save your card on file for future sessions.

Superbills or itemized receipts are available upon request for insurance reimbursement.
